He is a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, International Fellow of The Engineering Academy of Japan, and a Fellow of The Institution of Structural Engineers (UK). Professor Zhou currently serves as the Director of the Research Center of Steel Structures at Chongqing University in China.
