'Andrea Staiti's book presents an account of Husserl's thought that does full justice to the richness of his contribution to the philosophical elucidation of life, nature, the cultural world, and history. It should greatly facilitate dialogue between phenomenology and other philosophical approaches to these topics.' Steven Crowell, Rice University, Houston
