The algorithm includes all the patterns used to describe relevant HRCT findings and differential diagnosis. The book also includes a disease overview illustrated with lots of images and clinical examples.

In this fifth edition, we have updated the criteria for UIP pattern and revised the chapter about Hypersensitivity pneumonitis. Otherwise, there are only minor changes.

Carl Lamm (MD) has been a senior specialist in thoracic radiology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden, for more than 30 years. His highly regarded lectures on HRCT have been the inspiration for this book.
