Sarah has been an F1 journalist and reporter for more than 20 years. She began her sports writing career at the BBC and was embedded in the travelling TV production team, attending every grand prix, from the 2009 season. Sarah updated the audience on her adventures through her blog on the BBC Sport website and interviewed many of F1's greatest stars from Michael Schumacher to Lewis Hamilton. She also vividly remembers interviewing next generation stars Max Verstappen and Lando Norris before they began their F1 journeys! Sarah is the current co-host, scriptwriter and executive producer of the award-winning BBC Sounds podcast F1: Back at Base. Now into its second season, the podcast has amassed more than one million listeners in the UK and the U.S. Sarah was also the co-host and story editor of the popular 2022 BBC Sounds podcast, Sport's Strangest Crimes: Spygate, which unpicked the controversial spying saga between F1 rivals Ferrari and McLaren in 2007. Sarah is a scriptwriter for F1TV and has also written and produced motorsport content for broadcasters including the BBC, Channel 4 and CNN. Her current work takes her behind-the-scenes at the top-secret F1 factories and deep into the sport's archives.
