The trademark excellent recipes are there with great photography, but adding to its value as a book to curl up with is the fascinating introduction - a poignant account of his and his wife Sofie's journey from Howth, Co Dublin, to LA and back again, learning along the way lots of lessons including the value of his culinary heritage.
