Louise Ingstrom is just out of pastry school and home in Fortune Bay for Christmas before returning to Seattle to find her dream job. Her dad is sick and she wants to help out, but is staying at the Murphy's cabin for the month to avoid the drama at home.

Her old friend Blue has stood by her forever - ever since they were kids and she lost everything she cared about. But it's time to get on with his own life - with or without her. He is determined not to get caught up in her drama again, especially with her new boyfriend coming to visit.

But as Christmas festivities swirl around them, fate steps in and Louise's plans begin to crumble. Will Blue still be there to pull her through this time?
