Ho Tzu Nyen

With incisive insight and bold explorations of form and media, Ho Tzu Nyen: Time & the Tiger offers the first comprehensive look at Ho Tzu Nyen’s groundbreaking practice—surveying his versatility as a visual artist, writer, performance and filmmaker, while examining the restless exchanges between Asia and the West alongside the grand designs, philosophical manoeuvres and fugitive logics of an interlinked, decolonising world.

An essential reckoning with the aesthetics, power and technological systems that shape contemporary art, Time & the Tiger assembles critical reflections on two decades of Ho Tzu Nyen’s practice, as thinkers and allies unpack his acclaimed speculative imaginings in projects including One or Several Tigers, The Critical Dictionary of Southeast Asia, Hotel Aporia and T for Time.
