History, Prophecy, Identity and Language in the Hebrew Bible

Charlotte Hempel, University of Birmingham, UK, is Professor of Hebrew Bible and Second Temple Judaism and Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Pretoria. She has published extensively on the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Hebrew Bible, including The Community Rules from Qumran: A Commentary (Mohr Siebeck, 2020) and with George Brooke, T&T Companion to the Dead Sea Scrolls (Bloomsbury, 2019).Hans Ausloos‎, F.R.S.-FNRS / Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium, is Research Director at the Belgian Fund for Scientific Research (F.R.S.-FNRS). He is Director of the Louvain Centre for Septuagint Studies and Textual criticism, and has published mainly on the so-called Deuteronomistic redaction of the Pentateuch, on textual criticism and on the Septuagint’s translation technique.
