History of Science

This is a book about the history of science from the ancient Greeks through to modern times. Al the great names are here - Newton, Davy, Faraday, Maxwell, Einstein, Crick and Watson. This emphasis of this book is on science, not the lives of scientists, nor technology. It is intended for the general reader and does not require any special knowledge beyond basic school science.
