Peterson is a Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. His interests include electromagnetic field theory and computational electromagnetics, with emphasis on the development of computational techniques for electromagnetic scattering, antennas, microwave devices, and electronic packaging applications.
