Andrew Jordan lives in Southampton. He edits 10th Muse magazine (some issues of which are available online, archived by the Poetry Library of Great Britain), and produces the Listening Voice newletter of the Equi-Phallic Alliance. From November 2000 to May 2001 he was writer-in-residence at Haslar prison, then a Home Office Holding Centre, now a Removal Centre. Most of the detainees are refugees, including survivors of torture. Hegemonick is his second collection from Shearsman.
