’This edition of Harrod's Librarians' Glossary, is both reassuringly traditional and familiar but with just the right level of coverage of the information world to keep it contemporary and relevant. It also remains, coming from Yorkshire based Prytherch and Aldershot headquartered Gower, refreshingly British in focus. This might be an inconvenience in North America where definitions for the Music Libraries Trust, UK Libraries Plus and the Walford Medal will have little relevance, but there is still enough international content to serve a wide audience. All major libraries need this new edition. Individual librarians and information workers should also be sure to have a copy accessible as this remains one of the most important sources of reference for the profession.’ Reference Reviews, February 2006 ’This resource is suitable for library professionals, information specialists, and others in the library and information science field.’ American Refernece Book Annual, Vol 37, 2006
