The book describes the origin and evolution of Hong Kong's oldest Western cemetery garden in the Happy Valley and, by means of a self-guided tour, highlights the need for urgent action to conserve the deteriorating built and natural heritage resources of this important historic cultural landscape.
Ken Nicolson has been working as a landscape architect in Hong Kong since 1984. He is also an adjunct assistant professor to the Architecture Conservation Programme in the Faculty of Architecture, the University of Hong Kong.
