‘Anyone willing to understand how policy works in non-Western economies should be interested in this Handbook. The contributors explain the challenges raised by policy evaluation in weak institutional systems, whether under authoritarian regimes or in young democracies. They provide a wealth of examples from all over the Global South, which bring in first hand empirical material for research and practice in a fast growing community.’
