From the reviews: "Herrmann's book describes in detail new production-scheduling problems and challenges. ... this book is an excellent tool for use as a reference book for readers who wish to build new production-scheduling procedures. ... I think this is an interesting book about production scheduling and related issues for use by many students, professionals, professors, and researchers to learn the key concepts about this topic. Therefore, I consider this work as a valuable reference for graduate students or researchers interested in production scheduling in a wider sense." (Javier Faulin, Interfaces, Vol. 38 (3), 2008)
