Musthafa M Essa, Ph.D., is a Professor of Nutrition at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. He is an Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Nutrition, Pharmacology, Neurological Diseases. He is also acting as an associate editor for BMC complementary and alternative medicine and is an Editor for Frontiers in Neuroscience and Frontiers in Biosciences. Prof. Essa is an expert in the field of nutritional neuroscience/neuropharmacology and has published more than 200 papers, 60 book chapters, and 20 books. Prof. Essa is the recipient of several awards, including the best book in the world, National Research Award, Outstanding neuroscientist, and Distinguished Researcher. He has over 15 years of research experience in the field of nutritional neuroscience.
