‘Research on intuition - and the very definition of the concept - is highly controversial and the entire book illustrates the discordant views to which it gives rise. The work has been written with a clear intention: to lead intuition out of a retrenched area, dealing with sub-scientific processes and outcomes, and to give us fresh knowledge, specifically within and between cognitive psychology and neuroscience research.
