This book draws together new, multidisciplinary research exploring how children, young people and families experience and cope with situations of socio-economic poverty and precarity in diverse international contexts. It explores how contemporary contexts of 'neoliberalism', 'austerity' and 'economic crisis' impact upon children, young people and families and evidences the multiple harms and inequalities caused by these processes.
