Wendy Killam is a professor and coordinator of the counseling program at Stephen F. Austin State University. She is a licensed counselor and has experience working in the field of student affairs. She has been working in higher education for over 20 years. Adam Carter is a counselor educator and supervisor specializing in working with bereaved youth and families in group settings. He worked in housing and residence life for a decade before becoming a professional counselor.Suzanne Degges-White is professor and chair of the Department of Counseling, Adult and Higher Education at Northern Illinois University. She writes a blog for Psychology Today magazine and is a regular contributor on NIU’s NPR radio station’s Perspectives program.
