Prof. Marcello Locatelli is Associate Professor (from 2020) in Analytical Chemistry at University “G. d’Annunzio of Chieti-Pescara and his research activity is aimed at the development and validation of chromatographic methods for the qualitative and quantitative determination of biologically active molecules in human and animal, cosmetics, food, and environmental complex matrices. These procedures have been applied to different analytes and drug associations also finding application in clinical and pre-clinical studies, to characterize new delivery systems of the active principle to improve their pharmacological properties. In the development of the method are predictive models and chemometrics applied both for the optimization of extraction protocols and for final data processing. Particular attention is given to innovative (micro)-extraction techniques and new instrumental configurations for the quantitative analysis of complex matrices. He authored of over 300 articles in International peer reviewed Journals, 10 books, over 30 book chapters and holds a US patent. Prof. Fotouh R. Mansour is a life-science researcher specializing in drug and toxin analysis. He has authored over 195 publications in leading scientific journals,. He has received honors, including the University Encouragement Award (2017), the State Encouragement Award (2019), and the Best Scientific Research Award from ACDIMA (2021). Professional accolades include the Shield of Excellence (2005) and the Medal of Merit (2009) from the Egyptian Syndicate of Pharmacists, plus an International Publication Award from Tanta University (2014–2024). He has also been involved in the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Leaders in Innovation Fellowship Program, earning second place. Currently, his research focuses on membrane-based platforms and sustainable assessment metrics for bioanalysis and environmental monitoring. Dr. Alaa Bedair is an assistant Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry. She completed her Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry at Tanta University in 2021 and began her Ph.D. studies in June 2022. She has published over 50 articles in high-impact journals. Alaa served as a teaching assistant at the University of Sadat City from 2018 to 2021 and has been an assistant lecturer there since 2021. Her accolades include the Best Scientific Research Article award from ACDIMA in 2021, and the International Publication Award from the University of Sadat City from 2021 to 2024.
