Hridesh Gajurel is ARC Laureate Research Fellow at the School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet) at the Australian National University. He was previously a Lecturer in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Queensland. He is a political economy and public policy scholar who specialises in comparative capitalism, financialisation, corporate short-termism, economic governance, policy paradigm shifts, institutional memory, and new institutional theory. He completed his PhD in political economy from the University of Queensland.
