He is an award-winning Kenyan journalist with more than 10 years of experience. He has worked as a newspaper reporter and editor before heading a County Government Press Service. Anyuor holds a B.A. in Literature (Moi University) and an M.A. degree in communication and media studies (Maseno University). He is the author of Unmasking Poetry and Media, Democracy and Devolution in Kenya. He is also an adjunct instructor of communication and journalism, as well as a media consultant.
