Life isfull of seasons. As women, sometimes we can feel confident and at other timescompletely invisible, and it is so often easy to get bogged down in the sheerbusyness of ‘doing’ life. The womenin the Bible were no different - they too struggled with issues like maritalchallenges, difficult friendships, grief and unfulfilled dreams – yet like allScripture, their stories point to the character and glory of God.  By studying their stories, Holly Satterthwaiteinvites us to see how God reveals his goodness through the female humanexistence.  Eachchapter in Glorious starts with a short Bible study and includesreflections on a biblical character and a particular aspect of women’s lives andfinishes with questions to help us think through and apply lessons in our ownlives. As welean into these biblical stories in Glorious, we gain a clearer visionof who God is, understand how he works through all the seasons of our lives,and are encouraged to reflect his glory to those around us. How willGod’s glory show in your story?
