This is a good book that will be of interest to scholars, diplomats, and businessmen hoping better to understand contemporary events in Algeria, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia. The authors provide accurate information and fresh perspective on security issues often overlooked or treated in a cursory manner by scholars of the region. The comparative nature of the analysis is especially appreciated, as it is often difficult to understand events in one country without some knowledge of what has happened in neighbouring states.
