Check out the latest review of The Global Classroom by Professor Virginia Wickline of NAFSA. “Students will both learn much from and enjoy this well-written text, as will the study abroad professionals who design programs and advise students. This book is a wonderful addition to the field of education abroad.” —Brian Whalen, President and CEO of The Forum on Education Abroad, and Associate Provost and Executive Director of the Office of Global Education at Dickinson College “The authors tell the story of why and how students can optimally benefit and grow from their experiences before, during, and after study abroad. The book is filled with examples, suggestions, websites, and contacts that anyone can profitably use. In sum, the book provides a practical and useful map for anyone associated with study abroad.” —Larry Braskamp, Professor Emeritus at Loyola University—Chicago, Senior Fellow at the American Association of Colleges and Universities, Senior Scientist at The Gallup Organization “This is a very well-written and comprehensive guide to study abroad. It touches on all the bases that study abroad advisers want their students to understand. It’s accessible to the student and useful for the instructor.” —Jeanne Hey, Director, International Studies Program and Professor of Political Science, Miami University
