Global Cities Set

The term global city, coined by American sociologist and economist Saskia Sassen in 1991, refers to international cities that impact the rest of the world politically, culturally, and/or socioeconomically. ""The Global Cities"" set directs students' attention to established world cities and newly emerging metropolises.
