Geomechanics II

"Geomechanics II: Testing, Modeling, and Simulation" presents research gathered by investigators from Japan and the United States, covering various geomechanics issues such as experimentation, constitutive modeling, and numerical simulations. This proceedings contains 37 papers presented at the Second Japan-U.S. Workshop on Testing, Modeling, and Simulation in Geomechanics, held in Kyoto, Japan from September 8-10, 2005. It presents current relevant research activities on a variety of topics for the purpose of sharing knowledge to foster and build cooperative efforts between two countries.
