This book provides insight into the importance of place and place settings in personal journeys. It explores the worlds of time journeys in different contexts: daily work, community livelihoods, rural-urban migration, disease outbreaks and controls, cruise ship tours, and isolated frontier settings. Stanley D. Brunn, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Geography at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, USA.
