From the reviews: "The authors attempt to explain the phenomena of combustion from the basic principles of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics and chemistry. The book covers various aspects of combustion in a concise manner. ... the book is well written with sufficient explanation for the ease of the readers. ... it certainly is a graduate text on combustion. In addition, it may attract wide readership from researchers and practicing engineers." (K. N. Shukla, Zentralblatt MATH, Vol. 1225, 2012)
