Frontiers of the Roman Empire: The African Frontiers

Professor David J. Breeze has published several books on Roman frontiers and the Roman army. Dr Sonja Jilek is the communication officer and the transnational archaeological co-ordinator of the international Southeast Europe Project "Danube Limes Brand". Professor David Mattingly is Professor of Roman Archaeology at the University of Leicester and director of the European Research Council funded Trans-Sahara Project. Dr Alan Rushworth is a director of The Archaeological Practice Ltd in Newcastle upon Tyne. Dr Martin Sterry is a research associate and GIS specialist at the University of Leicester on the European Research Council funded Trans-Sahara Project. Dr Victoria Leitch is a research associate and ceramics specialist at the University of Leicester on the European Research Council funded Trans-Sahara Project.
