Ivan Sablin is a research fellow at the Institute of Contemporary History, Ljubljana, and an interim professor and research project coordinator in the Department of History at Heidelberg University, Germany. His recent publications include Parliaments in the Late Russian Empire, Revolutionary Russia, and the Soviet Union (Routledge, 2024).Egas Moniz Bandeira is an associate professor in the Graduate School of International Cultural Studies at Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. He is the co-editor, with Ivan Sablin, of Parties as Governments in Eurasia, 1913–1991: Nationalism, Socialism, and Development (Routledge, 2022).
