Tanya M. Peres, is Professor and Chair of Anthropology at Florida State University. She is the co-editor of Integrating Zooarchaeology and Paleoethnobotany: A Consideration of Issues, Methods, and Cases (Springer 2010); Trends and Traditions in Southeastern Zooarchaeology (Univ Press of Florida 2014); The Cumberland River Archaic of Middle Tennessee (Univ Press of Florida 2019); Baking, Bourbon, and Black Drink: Foodways Archaeology in the Southeastern United States (Univ of Alabama Press 2021); and Unearthing the Missions of Spanish Florida (Univ Press of Florida 2021).
