Dr. Jiaqi Hou graduated from Beijing Normal University in 2018 with a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering and joined Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES) as a postdoc and is now an associate professor. Her research focuses on the synergy of solid waste pollution reduction and carbon reduction, organic solid waste carbon fixation, humus transformation, and carbon cycle targeted regulation. She has authored/co-authored 46 academic papers, 3 books, and 21 patents. Dr. Mingxiao Li received his PhD degree in Environmental Engineering from Northeast Agricultural University in 2011 and is now a professor in Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES). His research focuses on the disposal and reutilization of organic solid waste, especially through aerobic fermentation. He has authored/co-authored over 70 technical publications, including papers, three books and numerous patents. Dr. Beidou Xi received his PhD degree in Tsinghua University in 2002 and is currently a professor and the president of the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES). He has dedicated nearly three decades to the field of organic solid waste disposal and resource recovery. He proposed the principles of directional conversion and risk prevention for organic solid waste, and developed a series of innovative technologies, products, and equipment. Dr. Xi has published 415 academic papers with a total citation count of 30,417 and has authored 15 books. Additionally, he holds 195 authorized Chinese invention patents and 38 international invention patents. Dr. Xuan Jia graduated with a PhD from Beijing University of Science and Technology and is now a professor at Beijing Technology and Business University, specializing in solid waste management and resource utilization, as well as research on soil improvement technology for cultivated land. She has published over 50 papers in high impact journals.Dr. Ning Jiang received his PhD degree in University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and is now a research assistant in Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES). He focuses on in-situ rapid detection and integrated management of emerging contaminants, as well as the treatment and resource utilization of organic solid wastes. He has published 9 SCI papers.Dr. Wangmi Chen is an environmental engineering researcher specializing in solid waste management, energy conversion, and environmental functional materials. He holds a Ph.D. from Tianjin University and currently works as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES). With 18 publications in high-impact journals, his work focuses on catalytic tar cracking, waste pyrolysis, and biogas upgrading.
