WILLIAM FRAZER is a Professor of Economics at the University of Florida, Gainesville. He has also served as Professor at FSU's London Study Center and as a Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics. He has worked and written in general economics and the money, banking, and finance areas. Recent publications under the Praeger imprint include The Legacy of Keynes and Friedman (1994) and The Central Banks (1994).JOHN J.
