When not writing, you can find her climbing mountains in muddy boots, squirrelled into an armchair with a novel and a cup of tea or tending to her potted plants.Ali Pye (Illustrator) Ali Pye wanted to write and illustrate books since she was a very small child... but being a bit of a daydreamer it took her until she had her own children to finally get around to it! Ali has now written or illustrated nearly forty books, which have been published all over the world. She lives in London with her husband, her nearly grown up children and a little dog called Saffy.
