”A gutsy work, full of lushly rendered dreamscapes, memories, and slices of life. You‘ll find in these densely packed pages an inimitable world full of wit, confession, fear, and love.” —Jason Adam Katzenstein, author of Everything is an Emergency ”Fertile is my favorite kind of memoir—vulnerable, searingly honest, yet self-compassionate. Exploring  questions many of us former wild girls have asked ourselves: Who are we when wew shed the layers of self-destruction, and what will it take to heal so that another life can grow?” —Natalie Norris, author of Dear Mini”With charming humor and imagery that is at times shocking in its vulnerability, this book is radical in its shameless, no-holds-barred portrayal of what it really is to be a woman in the world” —Caitlin Cook, author of Ace of Hearts
