Fat Friendly Freddy follows the story of an obese kid who manages to navigate through childhood bullying, teasing and name calling. It's a story of victory demonstrating the joy of friendship, self-worth, self-esteem and self-confidence. The book was written to encourage young people stay positive and kind even through difficult circumstances. This wonderful story immersed in verse and rhyme follows the challenging journey of our Hero, "Fat Friendly Freddy" It was written to encourage anyone, who despite being different, being teased and/or bullied, to thrive and survive even in the midst of adversity.
