Fair Seafarer

Nancy Allen, who lives in Ft. Pierce, Florida, married the chief Mate of an 845 foot containship and went to sea with him. She has been a Contributing Editor of Motor Boating and Sailing magazine and a Field Editor of Motor Boat Magazine.

To call this simply a maritime adventure, captivating as it is, would do injustice to Allen's superb account of the Merchant Marine, it's changing hsitory, it's men and increasingly it's women...COntinually engrossing, informative and fun.
