This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 4th International Workshop on Explainable and Transparent AI and Multi-Agent Systems, EXTRAAMAS 2022, held virtually during May 9–10, 2022. The 14 full papers included in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 25 submissions.
