Explainable AI in Space

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the First International Workshop on Explainable AI in Space, EASi 2025, in Bologna, Italy, during October 2025.The 8 full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 10 submissions.  The Explainable AI in Space (EASi) workshop addressed a critical intersection between explainable AI (XAI) and space applications, offering broad relevance to multiple research and industrial communities beyond traditional AI approaches.
