European Political Parties

European Political Parties (1969) looks at the parties of Western Europe on a country by country basis, examining their roles in the increasing political integration in the European Economic Community. The party system is described, with a structural-functional analysis of individual parties. Particular emphasis is given to the relationship between the parties and their respective parliamentary groups, and between leaders and members.
