'This well structured anthology provides a detailed account of how ASEM has served as an interregional forum during the last decade for Asia and the European Union. Authors provide a systematic and knowledgeable evaluation of ASEM's capacity to be a catalyst for economic and security cooperation, cultural and human rights dialogue, and civil society networking between the two regions.' Michael Schulz, University of Gothenburg, Sweden '...this is a fine book, particularly as a reference for all people interested in this young and at least potentially important international forum.' Political Studies Review 'This book provides a comprehensive analysis of various aspects of the ASEM process not only for academics but also for those readers who have a specific interest in Europe-Asia relations. Scholars and students of international relations, global governance etc. may find this book a welcome addition to the existing literature.' East Asian Integration Studies
