Ethical Intuitionism

Ethical Intuitionists believe that there is an irreducible plurality of basic moral principles, that these principles are self-evident, and that rightness and goodness are indefinable properties which cannot be understood in wholly naturalistic terms. In this collection of essays leading moral philosophers consider how these views are to be understood, and what implications they have for our understanding of morality.
