Et Amicorum: Essays on Renaissance Humanism and Philosophy

Anthony Ossa-Richardson, Ph.D. (2011), Warburg Institute, is a Lecturer in English Literature at the University of Southampton. His first monograph, based on his doctoral thesis, was The Devil's Tabernacle: The Pagan Oracles in Early Modern Thought (2013), and he has published a range of articles and book chapters on various aspects of early modern intellectual history.Margaret Meserve, Ph.D. (2001), Warburg Institute, is Associate Professor of History at the University of Notre Dame. She is the author of Empires of Islam in Renaissance Historical Thought (2008) and has published widely on Renaissance humanism, book history, and political communication.
