CALL and language learning have become complex and are accelerated with the arrival of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools. Liam Murray is Senior Lecturer in Language and Technologies in the School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics at the University of Limerick, Ireland. Marta Giralt is Lecturer in Spanish and Applied Linguistics at University of Limerick, Ireland Silvia Benini is Educational Developer in the Academic Integrity Unit at the University of Limerick.
