She completed her Graduation and Postgraduation at Grant Medical College, Mumbai. She was the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Cutaneous & Aesthetic Surgery (2014-17) and the President of the Association of Cutaneous Surgeons of India (2007-2008). She has edited books on Chemical Peels, Acne Scars, Cosmeceuticals & Practical Manual of Cosmetic Dermatology & Dermatosurgery. She is the recipient of Dr PN Behl oration award in Dermatosurgery (2014) and Prof KC Kandhari award for best Dermatologist(2015).Dr Ninon Patrao completed her graduate and post graduate training at Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore and is currently working in the Department of Dermatology at Manipal Hospitals, Bangalore.
