Dr. Priyanka Bajaj, PhD, Editor is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical Sciences at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad, India. Her group is working on the cutting-edge field of Biopharmaceutical Proteins and Enzymes. The group explores industrially important biopharmaceutical proteins like antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), and enzymes, including P450s, Ketoreductases, Transaminases, and others. She has 15 years of experience from her two post-doctorates at the University of Rochester, New York, and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, as well as in her PhD from NIPER, Mohali. She is the author and co-author of multiple reputed international research articles in reputed journals like Angewandte Chemie, Journal of Organic Chemistry, Biochemie and others and patents and has been awarded several national and international academic awards. She has supervised 15 master students by now and is currently supervising 08 masters and 06 PhD students. Dr. A. R. Satvik Iyengar, PhD, holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Medical Biochemistry from The University of Newcastle in Australia. Subsequent to his PhD he worked as a Scientific Writer in Cactus Communications in India. Prior to his PhD he graduated with a Masters in Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar in India and later worked as Junior Research fellow (JRF) at NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar. During his PhD he worked on understanding the effects of inflammation in Parkinson’s disease and during his MS and JRF tenure he has worked on Enzyme expression, purification and stabilization. He has been involved in writing scientific articles for more than a decade and has published several review and research articles. During his stint as a scientific writer for Cactus Communications he was also involved in writing medical information documents for various pharmaceutical companies that were aimed at informing health care professionals.
