Environmental Profiles of European Business (1993) surveys the reactions of European businesses to environmental concerns. Basing their findings on detailed and confidential interviews with boardroom executives from the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands, the authors examine leading business sectors, including the automotive, chemical, steel, metal processing and electricity industries. In each case the characteristics of the sector, the environmental pressures, government attitudes and industry responses are described.
