"Each page has large cartoony illustrations of various types of animals, and small paragraphs with facts and information. This design is perfect for capturing the attention of a curious child! I love the cartoony art style! It’s so cute and colorful. This book is really interesting, and it’s so cool to find out some new facts about rare species and also about common animals." ―Luminous Libro"A great book to use to explore the great outdoors! This encyclopedia is a reference tool for young readers learning about different animal classifications. The pictures are digital color illustrations of the animals, however they are very accurately represented. It is a great way to get outside and look for some of the animals mentioned in the text. Readers as young as 3 years old and up to 11 years old would enjoy using this reference book." ―Youth Services Book Review"Encyclopedia of Animals for Young Readers contains lots of information about animals, so if you wanted to know something about one of the animals in the book, you could learn a little bit, and then find out more stuff in other places. The pictures of the animals and the pages are colorful; I liked learning about the different kinds of birds and butterflies." ―Kids Book Buzz
