His recent employee competition cases include the striking down of long non-compete covenants in a quantitative trading firm and the defence of an arbitration concerning whether the architecture of trade modelling software amounted to a trade secret. Tom has been involved in leading cases concerning all aspects of employee competition throughout his career. He has been a chapter lead of Employee Competition since its first edition.Diya Sen Gupta KC is a barrister at Blackstone Chambers and Head of the Employment and Partnership Group. Her recent cases on injunctive relief include Vertical Aerospace Group Ltd v Ngoma and Clyde & Co LLP v Jalan. He has extensive experience of acting for partners and LLPs in disputes arising out of the partnership relationship, including in arbitrations (amongst other things) to enforce restrictive covenants, or disputing the validity of an expulsion.
